For Returning Students
Registration, and Application PARENT agrees to pay the applicable, non-refundable re-registration fee. The re-registration fee schedule for the said school year is as follows:
Early Re-Enrollment Registration and Application Fees
Early Registration Fee (before Feb. 28, 2019): $150.00
(This includes book fees, activity fees, technology fees, lab fees, facility fees)
Families taking advantage of the early re-enrollment discount MUST pay the 1st month’s tuition for the 2019-20 academic year in full by June 30, 2019 (Note that this is mandatory for all families taking advantage of the early re-enrollment discount) by:
- Making your 1st month’s tuition payment for 2019-20 in one (1) lump sum payment by March 31st, 2019, OR
- Spreading your 1st month’s tuition for 2019-20 over 4 months (25% in March, 25% in April, 25% in May & 25% in June). Your last payment must be received by June 30th, 2019.
Your 2nd tuition payment would be due on the 1st of August (no tuition payment would be due in July 2019).
Registration Fee (after Feb. 28, 2019): $300.00
(This includes book fees, activity fees, technology fees, lab fees, facility fees)
PTO Dues: $100 initial fee paid upon registration and $200.00 annual fee can be paid through participation in school sanctioned PTO fundraisers.
Service Fee: Each family is responsible for 5 hours of volunteer service during the school year. You may pay a $50 service fee OR provide 5 volunteer service hours.
End of Year Fees (Due Oct. 1, 2019): $65.00 due by October 1, 2019. This covers the cost of student assessment at all grade levels. This will be added to your October 2019 student account invoice/statement.
Graduation Fee (Due Oct. 1, 2019): $100.00 due by October 1, 2019. This fee is used to offset costs associated with graduation and covers cap and gown, and other ceremony expenses and will be added to your October 2019 student account invoice/statement.
Aftercare Fee: PARENT agrees to pay the applicable after care fee for the school year. The after school fee schedule for the said school year is as follows:
Registration: Annual Fee of $20.00
Services: Hourly - $10.00, Daily - $20.00, Weekly - $50.00, Monthly - $160.00
School hours are 8:00 A.M. - 3 P.M. Since there is a very generous grace period from 3-3:30P.M. during which PARENTS may pick up their children, if at any time a child is picked up after 3:30P.M. that PARENT’S account will be assessed a $20.00 daily fee or an hourly fee, whichever is less, for after care services. Abuse of the grace period, such as frequent use of it will result in revocation of the grace period for those abusers.
After School Care Services end a 6:00P.M. There is a $1.00 per minute late fee assessed after 6:00P.M. The $1.00 per minute late fee must be paid at pick up time.
Students can participate in the following extra-curricular activities. The fee is per activity and applies for the entire year.
Dance $75.00 per month
Karate $75.00 per month
Piano Lessons $75.00 per month
$140 for any two clubs
$200 for all three clubs
Optional Catered Lunch Program Fee
PARENT has the option to pay the applicable lunch program fee for the school year. The fee schedule for the said school year is as follows: ALL GRADES: ($21.25 weekly) ($4.25 daily)
* Lunch must be ordered one month in advance. Lunch must also be cancelled in writing, at least one month in advance in order to be excused from the payment of the lunch ordered. All lunch orders must be paid at the time the order is made. Parents with overdue tuition accounts must pay for lunch in cash prior to ordering lunch.
PARENT agrees to pay the applicable tuition for the 2019-2020 school year. The fee schedule for the said school year is as follows:

A. Tuition is EXCLUSIVE of after school care services, after school care clubs, extra-curricular services and programs, field trips, the optional lunch program, textbook fees, matriculation fee, application fee, activity fee, registration fees, etc. The tuition only covers the cost of regular educational services provided to students who receive regular instruction in a regular classroom setting at Excelsior Artz Preparatory School. Students with special needs may require special educational services not covered by the said tuition fee stated in this contract. In the case of a student who requires special educational accommodations, it is the responsibility of the PARENT to have a contract drawn up that delineates the additional cost/s associated with the special service/s needed.
B. Tuition may be paid according to one of the following plans the PARENT selects upon registration:
Plan I: Full payment of the applicable annual tuition listed above. A discount of $100.00 will be given at the time of payment to clients who elect this plan.
Plan II: Eleven monthly payments: Participants in this plan must divide the annual tuition into eleven (11) equal monthly payments and begin making tuition payments on July 1, 2019. The last tuition payment for the said year is due on May 1, 2020. All monthly payments on this plan are due on the 1st of each month, beginning July 1, 2019 and ending on May 1, 2020.
Plan III: Five payments: Participants in this plan must divide the annual tuition into five equal payments and follow the applicable payment plan below. All payments under this plan must be remitted on the first of the following months: July, September, November, January, and March.
Plan IV: Three Equal Monthly Payments: Participants in this plan must follow the applicable payment plan listed above. All payments under this plan must be remitted on the first of the following months: July, October, and January.
Plan V: Quarterly Participants in this plan must follow the applicable payment plan listed above. All payments under this plan must be remitted on the first of the following months: July, September, December, and March.
Plan VI: Weekly Participants in this plan must follow the applicable payment plan listed above. All payments under this plan must be remitted on the first day of each week (even when students are on vacation during the months of November, December and March/April). When school is not in session on a Monday, payments must be remitted the prior week or online.
C. All plans above require payments to be made by the first day of the applicable months. A weekly $20.00 late fee will be assessed to any account after every five delinquent days of non-payment. Late payments must be paid through cash, credit card payment or money order. Zero balances must be intact in order to avoid a late fee assessment.
D. Parents of past due accounts over 30 days will be asked to keep their children home until the account is brought current or arrangements are made.
E. PARENTS are responsible for making payments regardless of missed days, legal holidays, or school holidays, including teacher planning days. PARENTS are also responsible for the total amount of the annual tuition once a child is enrolled in Excelsior. If for any reason a PARENT withdraws his/her child prior to the completion of the contract, he or she must provide the school with two(2) months written request for termination of the contract in order for consideration of a new financial agreement.
F. A $35.00 fee shall be charged for any checks remitted to our institution that are not honored by a financial institution. In addition to the $35.00 fee for checks which are returned, the PARENT will also be held responsible for payment of any late fees assessed, as described in SECTION C above. Payments made to replace a check that has not been honored must be made in the form of cash, credit card payment, or money order.
G. The following fees are used in Excelsior’s annual financial planning; therefore, they are non-refundable: registration, application, matriculation, re-registration, activity, textbook, tuition, PTO dues, and computer laboratory. Parents must pay these fees directly to Excelsior.
H. Students not picked up after a club ends will be moved to aftercare and an aftercare fee will be charged to your student account.
I. A fee of $1.00 for every minute past after care hours (6:00 P.M.) will be enforced and must be paid immediately to the EAPS personnel at the front desk when you pick up.
J. Excelsior Artz Preparatory school reserves the right not to refund enclosed stated fees.
K. Excelsior Artz Preparatory School reserves the right to withdraw a student at any time with expressed reasons why (e.g. non-payment, disciplinary measures).
L. Excelsior Artz Preparatory School may charge an additional 2% processing fee of any payment when it is made in the form of credit or debit card payment
M. McKay and Florida Step Up For Students programs are paid by the State of Florida quarterly. It is your responsibility to come in and sign the checks when they are available. Award recipients must pay their portion of tuition each month based on one of the above payment plans.
N. All tuition and fees must be current to re-enroll, receive report cards, SAT reports and records.
O. In the case of a natural disaster, (e.g. severe weather storm) or any acts of God, Excelsior Artz Preparatory School will not be responsible for child care nor the reimbursement for days missed due to any consequential or related absences or lack of service.
For the above referenced (contents of this agreement) consideration, EXCELSIOR will provide to the child of each PARENT an opportunity for a quality education.
The laws of the State of Florida shall be applicable to this agreement.
The venue shall be Tamarac, Florida.
