Keyboarding with Music Theory Lessons

In a fun, energetic, and lively atmosphere, students are taught the foundations of piano as well as how to read and write music.

Three Benefits Your Child May Receive From Piano Lessons

Numerous studies show that students who play an instrument have increased test scores, especially in Math.

Learning to play the piano requires hard work and dedication. Each song your child learns to master and showcase at piano recitals will hoist their self-esteem and allow them to experience the benefits of consistent diligence.

Playing the piano increases overall dexterity and complex thought processes. Kids who play the piano have improved fine motor skills and, unlike other instruments, the piano requires both hands to work independently of each other, one moving fast while the other may be moving at a slower rate.

Reading a piece of music takes a great deal of focus, causing a child to interpret a note and a rhythm, translate it into hand movements on the keyboard and then immediately go on to the next one. Reading and playing music allows them to think both critically and creatively

Through playing the piano, children are exposed to various music that they may otherwise have never heard. They may even develop an appreciation for composers like Beethoven or Mozart.
